The Chronic Dev Team have just confirmed that they are putting the finishing touches on he GreenPois0n iPad 2 jailbreak. This is an updated version of GreenPois0n seeing as though the iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak is already released.
This is what Joshua Hill @p0sixninja of the Chronic Dev Team has to say on Twitter: Since 4.3.1 is already exploited by the legendary @ion1c, we?re working on finishing the iPad 2 jailbreak now.
What we should mention here is the fact that Apple has already patched the iPad 2 jailbreak exploit in iOS 4.3.1 which was originally found by Comex on iOS 4.3. There has been no update from the Chronic Dev Team to say whether or not their new GreenPois0n jailbreak will work on iOS 4.3.1 or even on the upcoming iOS 4.3.2 so for the time being it is probably best to stay on iOS 4.3 until things are confirmed.
We will of course keep you updated as we receive any further information but for the time being all we can say is that a new GreenPois0n update is being worked on which will jailbreak the iPad 2.
